What is Intero?
Intero is an expert incident analyst for Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) teams. Describe what happened and attach the evidence. Intero asks the follow-up questions a seasoned investigator would, then builds a cited causal analysis with corrective actions traced to specific causes. A qualified person reviews, edits, and signs every report before it is final.
How does Intero work?
Intero follows a fixed investigation spine that cannot be skipped or reordered: intake (describe what happened in plain language, with photos and documents), evidence (Intero asks investigator-grade follow-ups and names what is missing), causal analysis (a cited mechanism → proximate → systemic chain), CAPA (corrective actions linked to specific causes), and review and sign (a qualified person edits, rejects, or approves before anything is final).

The AI proposes a hazard type and severity, creates a structured record, and opens the investigation from a single chat message. What is safety intelligence software?
Safety intelligence software goes beyond recording incidents. It analyzes safety data to surface recurring findings and recommend actions for human review, moving a reactive safety program toward a proactive one. Traditional EHS systems store the data. What does an Intero case file contain?
Every investigation lives in one record: the case file. It holds the evidence and photos captured at intake, the cited mechanism→proximate→systemic causal chain, the CAPAs linked to each cause, any hazards and HIRA, and the human investigator’s sign-off. Everything for an incident stays in that single, auditable record.
What is the morning brief?
An AI-generated daily summary of overnight events, critical alerts, open hazards, due actions, and recurrence findings, so a safety leader can see where to focus without assembling it by hand. It is a convenience layer around the investigation work. The investigation is the product.
How does an investigation run?
Every investigation follows a fixed spine that can’t be reconfigured, skipped, or reordered: intake → evidence → causal analysis → CAPA → review and sign. You type what happened in plain English (and attach photos), the AI asks investigator-style follow-up questions, builds a cited causal chain, drafts CAPAs, and a human investigator reviews, edits, and signs before the PDF is issued.

Is Intero secure?
Yes. Intero uses enterprise-grade security including encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access control (RBAC), and complete audit trails for every action. SOC 2 Type II in progress. All data is processed securely with strict access controls.
Does Intero support OSHA compliance?
Yes. Intero tracks regulatory recordability for incidents, generates regulatory log exports (OSHA 300 and 300A) in Excel format, and maintains full audit trails for regulatory compliance. Intero also supports jurisdiction-specific compliance frameworks beyond OSHA.
How does Intero handle AI governance?
All AI-generated content is marked as DRAFT and requires human review before anything is final. Full conversation history is retained for auditability. The AI shows its reasoning, and the system learns from your team’s corrections.
Where is my data hosted?
Intero runs on AWS, with encryption at rest and in transit. Specific data-residency requirements are something we can discuss as part of an enterprise agreement, but we don’t promise a particular region as a shipped default today. SOC 2 Type II is in progress.

How much does Intero cost?
Intero is priced by seats, in three flat plans: Solo is $20/mo for 1 seat, Team is $100/mo for up to 5 seats, and Company is $200/mo for up to 10 seats. Annual is 20% off, billed upfront. It is one product on every plan, so the investigation copilot is the same on all of them; plans differ only by seats and AI usage (1×, 5×, 10×), and that usage is pooled across your team. How do I get started with Intero?
Book a demo. It’s a 20-minute founder demo on representative sample data. If it fits, onboarding gets you set up, trained, and investigating your first real incident together, live inside two weeks. Running safety across multiple large sites and need SSO, integrations, or data residency? Say so on the call.
Can I start without talking to anyone?
Not right now. For now, every team starts with a short demo; anonymous signup is turned off. The demo is 15–20 minutes with the founder, run on representative sample data, not your real safety data.
How long does implementation take?
Onboarding gets you live inside two weeks: setup, site and org configuration, a 90-minute remote team training, and your first real incident investigated together. Larger Enterprise rollouts (SSO, integrations, data migration) are scoped individually during onboarding.
What industries does Intero support?
Intero serves oil and gas, manufacturing, construction, mining and energy, and logistics industries. The AI skills are configurable per industry, adapting to each sector’s specific hazards, terminology, and regulatory standards.
